About the Accommodation

The living room is cozily furnished and offers a satellite TV and radio for entertaining hours. The separate kitchen is fully equipped and leaves nothing to be desired: A dishwasher, oven, fondue and raclette set, a toaster and a filter coffee machine are available. The direct access from the kitchen to the living room is practical and makes the living area particularly inviting. On the ground floor there is a bedroom with a comfortable double bed that is 160 cm wide. For families with children, there is a cot and high chair as well as some games to make their stay as pleasant as possible. There are 2 car parking spaces under a carport right next to the house; in summer the garage can also be used. The house is non-smoking and pets are not allowed, which ensures an allergy-friendly environment. As a special highlight for children, the house has a table football in the basement, which provides lots of fun and entertainment.

The holiday home is about a 10-minute walk from the Arvenbüel. The nearest bus station is approx. 3 minutes' walk away, the nearest ski lift approx. 5 - 10 minutes' walk. Shopping in Amden is about 5 minutes away by car.

Amden is located in eastern Switzerland above Lake Walensee. The village offers a magnificent mountain backdrop and is only about an hour's drive from the centres of Zurich, St.Gallen or Chur. The diverse regions of Glarnerland, Heidiland, Graubünden and Zurich with Lake Zurich are easily accessible by bus, train or car. In winter, the family ski resort of Amden with its renowned ski school and other ski resorts in the surrounding area such as Flumserberg or Pizol, Elm or Braunwald are a great attraction. In spring, summer and autumn, the lake and the mountains provide a wonderful contrast and offer a wide range of activities.
