About the Accommodation

The brand-new 2-room apartment offers everything you need for a comfortable stay. It comprises a bedroom with a non-separable double bed (2x90 cm) and a wardrobe as well as a spacious living area equipped with a dining table for four people, a TV and a comfortable sofa bed (1x160 cm) for two more people. All beds, including the sofa bed, are fitted with DELANA mattresses, which are made from pure natural materials to ensure a particularly restful night's sleep. Entertainment is also provided: books for children and adults as well as various games are available. From the balcony, you can enjoy a wonderful view of the mountains and the village, which makes your stay even more enjoyable. The flat's kitchen is well-equipped and has an electric hob, an oven, a microwave, a Nespresso coffee machine and a fridge. The bathroom is equipped with a shower, WC and bathroom sink. Free Wi-Fi internet is available throughout the flat to keep guests connected to the outside world. For families with small children, a cot and high chair can be provided on request - information that should be provided at the time of booking. The location in the immediate vicinity of the village centre is a real benefit. The nearest bus station (Amden, Dorf) is almost next to the house. Are you planning a trip to Lake Walensee or the family ski area? - Both can be easily reached in a few minutes by car or bus. The chairlift for the Mattstock Amden ski area or the extensive hiking area is even within easy walking distance. A free car park is available for your car.

Amden is located in eastern Switzerland above Lake Walensee. The village offers a magnificent mountain backdrop, but is less than an hour away from the centres of Zurich, St. Gallen, Rapperswil or Chur. The diverse regions of Glarnerland, Heidiland, Graubünden and Zurich with Lake Zurich can be reached quickly and easily by bus, train or car. In winter, the Amden family ski area with its particularly family-friendly ski school or other ski areas in the surrounding area such as Flumserberg or Pizol, Elm or Braunwald are very attractive. In spring, summer and autumn, the lake and the mountains offer a wonderful combination and provide a variety of hikes and excursions. A paradise in the Swiss Alps!
